A mandatory duplicate hard copy is to be received no later than September 26, 2023 at 2:00 PM. Failure to deliver a hard copy of the price proposal within the allotted time frame, may result in the rejection of a bidder's proposal, even if the original price submittal was received on time. The contract shall commence on December 1, 2023, pending approval by the Board of Education and remain in effect until November 30, 2024. All changes to the quote specification will be made through the appropriate addenda. The addenda form shall be completed and returned with the quote proposal response. Failure to return the addenda may be reason for rejection of the quote. The Carroll County Board of Education's Purchasing Department will issue addenda to the bidders who are on record. It is, however, every bidder's responsibility to acquire all addenda. The Board of Education of Carroll County reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Proposals, waive informalities and select the Proposal which will serve in its best interest. It is the intent of this Invitation to Bid to establish a contract for routine electronic transportation and processing of electronic service parts and components for personal computer, computer peripherals, and high technology equipment and their related service parts in compliance with all appropriate laws and regulations and in a manner that is beneficial to the communities and environment where the materials are dismantled and recycled in accordance with the attached terms, specifications, and general conditions.
