The bids are for a single Prime Contract (electrical) for an early bid package for for one (1) generator , (1) automatic transfer switch, (1) generator maintenance cabinet, and two (2) electrical switchboards to support a future auditorium addition at Linn-Mar High School.. Bids shall be on a lump sum basis; segregated sub-bids will not be accepted. Awards of Contract is anticipated to commence on or about the 11th of September. Work may begin immediately following execution of the agreement and is scheduled to be completed by June of 2025. Bid security in the amount of 5% of the total bid in the form of certified check, credit union share draft, or surety bond written on an original AIA Document A310, Bid Bond, is required for this project at the time of Bid. The successful bidder will be required to provide surety Performance and Payment Bonds in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Sum. The right is reserved to reject any and all bids, or any part thereof, and to waive informalities, and to enter into such contract or contracts as shall be deemed in the best interest of the Owner.
