Site work for a power facility in Jacksonville, Florida. Conceptual plans call for site work for a power facility.
JEA is soliciting qualifications from engineering firms to perform all engineering, surveying, exploration, and civil/transmission design services needed to construct two entirely new 138kV transmission circuits. The first would be Circuit 817, between the existing JEA Beeghly Heights Substation and the proposed new JEA Pecan Park Substation. The second would be Circuit 858, between the existing JEA Garden City Substation and the proposed new JEA Pecan Park Substation. When complete, the proposed circuits will create a loop around the Jacksonville International Airport (JIA). A complete scope of work is listed in Appendix A Technical Specifications.
