CONTRACTOR shall provide all labor, materials not furnished by the OWNER, equipment and incidentals as required for rehabilitation/installation of approximately 795 LF of 21-inch via CIPP; 80VF of Epoxy lining of 4-foot diameter manholes; 16 VF of Epoxy lining of 5-foot diameter manholes; 13 VF of Epoxy lining of Vortex vault structure/manhole; and 2 sewer laterals to be reinstated via, CIPP Lateral Lining, Cut and Buff and/or Top Hats. The work shall be completed in strict accordance with the drawings and the Contract Documents. CONTRACTOR will provide all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals as required to restore the Site to a condition equal to or better than the Site condition which existed prior to the initiation of the Work activities. CONTRACTOR shall provide Traffic Control Plan (TCP) and devices as required by the specifications This work is to be bid only by KUB pre-qualified contractors in the following area: 2.2 Wastewater Construction, Unlimited. Notice of Award September 1, 2023 Notice to Proceed on or before September 15, 2023 Required Substantial Completion of 100 days or December 24, 2023 Cut off for questions at 4:00PM on August 23, 2023 Issue addendum if required by 4:00PM on August 25, 2023 Each Bid must be accompanied by bid security made payable to the OWNER for fivepercent (5%) of the bidders Bid price and in the form of a certified cashier's check or abid Bond (Section 00411) issued by a surety meeting the requirements of Article 5 of theGeneral Conditions (Section 00700). As soon as the Bid prices have been compared, theOWNER will return the bid security of all except the three lowest responsible bidders.When the Agreement is executed, the bid security of the two remaining unsuccessfulbidders will be returned. The bid security of the successful bidder will be retained untilthe payment Bond and performance Bond have been executed and approved, after whichit will be returned.16. A performance Bond and a payment Bond, each in the amount of 100 percent (100%) ofthe Contract Price, with a corporate surety approved by the OWNER, will be required forthe faithful performance of the Agreement.
