The project is generally described as site demolition, the construction of three new structures to serve as support and storage functions for a new automated range located at an existing firing range. The Work also includes new firing points, target pads, associated site improvements and all associated utility and structural work necessary for the new structures. A 5% Bid Bond is required. No other forms of security, including certified checks, will be accepted. A Commonwealth of Virginia Standard Performance Bond (DGS-30-084, form CO-10) and a Commonwealth of Virginia Standard Labor and Material Payment Bond (DGS 30-088, form CO-10.1) WILL be required regardless of the bid amount. Building Permits: No building permit required. Project is not required to be submitted to DEB. All other permits are the responsibility of the Contractor. Time for Completion is 180 calendar days to Substantial completion. Final Completion shall be within 30 days after the date of Substantial completion. The project includes prevailing wage rate requirements.
