The Work generally consists of installing a diesel electric generator andassociatedequipment at 201 NW 3rd St, Ogden, IA, and upgrading the generator control systematthesame location. Contract Time Information Start Date: October 1 st , 2023 Completion Date: March 31 st , 2024 Ogden Municipal Utilities reserves the right to defer acceptance of any proposal for aperiodnot to exceed thirty (30) days after the date proposals are received and noproposal maybewithdrawn during this period. Ogden Municipal Utilities also reserves theright toreject anyorall proposals and enter into such contract as it shall determine to be in thebest interest ofthe municipal utility. There is no Pre-Bid Conference scheduled. Bidders wishing to examinethesitemaycontactthe Owner's representative to schedule a date and time. All bids shall be made on the proposal forms furnished in the project documentsandshall beaccompanied by bid security in the form of a certified check or bid bond, madepayabletoOgden Municipal Utilities in the amount of ten percent (10%) of thebid, whichsecuritybecomes the property of Ogden Municipal Utilities in the event the successful bidderfailstoenter into a contract and post satisfactory performance and payment bonds. Thesuccessfulbidder shall be required to provide performance and payment Bonds, eachintheamountof100 percent of the Contract Price. The construction contract shall be awarded by the Ogden Municipal Utility boardat ascheduled meeting. Substantial completion of the project shall be no later thanMarch31,2024
