The selected firm, under the direction of the County, shall supervise all aspects of the project including but not limited to the following: Planning, budgeting, administration, scheduling, inspection, coordination, permitting, design, construction management, and construction. Additional specifications are as follows: - Metal building addition to match existing building width, approximately 70’ and a max length of 100’. Preference given to a 2-story building with employee areas on second floor but would consider a single-floor concept. - Minimum of 3 equipment bays with doors on both sides for pull-through access. - Garage doors to match existing (14’ high and 12’ wide) and include individual openers at each door. Doors to have 4’ space between doors. - All lighting to be LED - Employee area: 3 offices 10’ x 10’ (up to 4 if space allows) Assembly area to include desk areas for 20 employees. Break room set up as a kitchenette to include area for refrigerator and sink 2 bathrooms including showers. A separate single shower can be included if it is more efficient with space. Locker area to accommodate 25 lockers. Washer/dryer area. Office area flooring to be LVT As of August 8, 2025, project issued an RFP for construction with bids due on June 27, 2025. County awarded contractor on July 23, 2025. Project under construction with completion expected by end of December 2025.
