The work in this Tender is a part of the Province's flood recovery efforts and mainly consists of drain excavation on the Meridian Drain, in the RM of Rosser. At the direction of Manitoba the Contractor shall excavate the drain to design grades, spread excavated material on adjacent agriculture land, and seed and straw mulch the excavated drain. The Work shall be completed on or before the expiration of TWENTY-FIVE (25) Working Days. Daily liquidated damages after this specified time limit will be charged at the rate of FIVE HUNDRED ($500.00) Dollars per Working Day until the work is completed. Items of Work Drain Excavation; Trimming: Spreading material onto adjacent fields; Seeding and straw mulch.
