The purpose of this Invitation for Bids is to solicit sealed bids from qualified contractors to replace the 3 existing HVAC units at the North Warren Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department. The Independent Contractor shall remove the three existing five - ton, three-phase HVAC units in their entirety and dispose of them properly. The Independent Contractor shall provide and install three five-ton, single-phase HVAC units with a 15 seer minimum. The new units shall be installed on three-inch pumps and plastic pads, provided by the Contractor. The Independent Contractor shall provide and install three five-ton air handlers with a 15 KW heat package in each unit. The air handlers shall be installed above the drop ceiling in the banquet hall area on the 2nd floor of the facility. New refrigerant lines shall be provided and installed by the Contractor for all three units. All refrigerant lines must be covered with line hide. All applicable safety devices shall be provided and installed by the Contractor including but not limited to drain pan safety switches. The Independent Contractor shall provide and install a new power surge disconnect on the outdoor and indoor units. The Independent Contractor shall do a system start-up to ensure all systems are working properly and meet the manufacturer's specifications. The Independent Contractor shall provide, in their bid, all available warranties both 100% and prorated coverage. The Independent Contractor is responsible for any and all electrical changes or modifications. The Independent Contractor is responsible for all local building, mechanical, and electrical permits and inspections required for this project. The Independent Contractor shall clean all work areas on a daily basis. This will be a turn-key project. At no point will the County of Warren be responsible for any part or portion of this project.
