*Board of Trustees has voted to place the remodel of the PLC Lab in our Industrial Engineering Lab on hold. * Flint Hills Technical College is Requesting Proposals for the Expansion of the Plc Classroom/lab for the Industrial Engineering Technology Program. Any questions regarding this bid are to be referred to Chris Wilson at chwilson@fhtc.edu or 620-794-0449 PLC Lab expansion must include: o Remove and relocate electrical and other services from west wall of current lab area o Remove west wall and window of current classroom area (plan to reuse the existing window) o Build a block wall on north side of current lab area to create a total room dimension of 40' 4" long x 22' 6" wide o Build a block wall o Reinstall existing window into new section of block wall - north side o Install new drop ceiling and convert existing lighting to LED in the new lab area o Install appropriate electrical needs for 22 automation and robotics work stations (PLC) o Update HVAC as appropriate for newly remodeled PLC lab space o Remove existing floor tile and polish concrete o Paint newly remodeled PLC lab space
