York Region District School Board is seeking Proposals for Hazardous Chemical Waste Removal. The objective of this proposal is to establish a contractual relationship with a Vendor or Vendors for Hazardous Chemical Waste Removal on an as-required basis. This relationship will allow the Board to ensure that we are purchasing quality service at a competitive price, while improving management reporting and reducing material and administrative costs. The Board spends approximately $35,000 per year for bi-annual Hazardous chemical waste removal and disposal services. This is an estimate only and should not be construed as a guarantee; rather it is shown to provide an indication of the potential of this Contract. There are approximately 233 locations in the York Region District School Board. The Board has an interest to include Full Delegate authority under the RPRA (Resource Productivity and Recovery Authority) to the vendor for Registered Waste Sites within this contract. The decision to include these services, as part of the contract will be determined based on the cost of services. Proponents are hereby invited to propose the lowest net prices, including all delivery charges for which the Proponent is prepared to furnish services requested herein, in accordance with the guidelines expressed in the enclosed document.
