RANGE FOR ENGINEER'S ESTIMATE: $900,000 - $1,100,000 *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. PROJECT SCOPE: Truckee Meadows Water Authority (TMWA) is accepting sealed bids for all labor, materials, equipment and incidentals required for completion of the improvements as shown on the Drawings. This shall include, but not limited to: removal (and disposal) of the existing sand & anthracite media, demolition and removal of the existing Leopold underdrain systems, removal and replacement of the existing air headers/manifolds, installation of new stainless steel underdrains, installation of new sand & anthracite media and final testing and preparation of the complete installation prior to filtration of water and final placement into operation. The underdrains, as shown on the Drawings and described in the Specifications, shall be procured by TMWA. TMWA will accept and entertain bids from only those Bidders in attendance at the mandatory pre-bid conference. NO EXCEPTIONS WILL BE MADE. BID SUBMITTAL: Sealed bids must be submitted electronically via the online bidding system (NGEM). TMWA reserves the right to reject any or all bids, including without limitation the right to reject any or all nonconforming, non-responsive, unbalanced, or conditional bids, and to reject the bid of any bidder if TMWA believes that it would not be in the best interest of TMWA to make an award to that bidder. TMWA also reserves the right to waive informalities. Bids will be evaluated as prescribed in Nevada Revised Statute 338.147.
