HVAC Renovations for Fayette County Behavioral Health Administration Building No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of sixty (60) days after the date set for the opening of bids, except if delayed by a required approval of another government agency, the sale of bonds, or the award of a grant or grants, in which case contract award would occur within 120 days of the date of bid opening, unless extended by the mutual written consent of the contracting body and the bidder. Notice is given that the Project for which construction bids are being solicited hereby is a project constituting public works and is subject to applicable provisions of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act, Act of August 15, 1961, P.L. 987, as amended and supplemented, and appropriate prevailing minimum wage rates as promulgated under provisions of said Act must be paid by contractors in connection with performance of the necessary work. Submit one (1) original and five (5) copies (clearly marked) of the completed bid forms to the Office of the County Controller, Fayette County Courthouse, 61 East Main Street, Uniontown, PA 15401, together with bid deposit. Retain one copy of the bid for your files The Fayette County Commissioners reserve the right to reject any or all bids or parts thereof. Fayette County reserves the right to waive any informalities/irregularities in bids, or to reject any or all bids and the right to disregard all non-conforming, non-responsive or conditional bids. Work shall be started on the Project within ten (10) days of the notice to proceed and shall be completed no later than April 15, 2024. The majority of the interior work shall be completed before March 15, 2024.
