The Summer Village of Jarvis Bay is requesting proposals from qualified sign companies to design, supply and install new entrance signs to the Jarvis Bay Village on Sylvan Lake. The primary task of the contractor is to provide design and construction services to replace 2 existing entrance signs and install one new sign in Jarvis Bay. The successful contractor will provide a team of experienced professionals to provide services for this important initiative. The successful proponent will provide new signage for the Village that addresses the needs of visitors and residents. The Village is seeking creative, cost-effective, low-maintenance solutions and options will be considered. It is preferred to have at least three options showing photos and costs in the proposal submission. The existing signs are approximately 3 feet (height) x 7 feet (long). It is preferred to keep the new design similar in size with the available space and viewing distance. Recommendations on any changes to sign dimensions will be considered. It is the intent of the Village to replace the existing ageing infrastructure with new, appealing, and durable infrastructure. This new initiative will establish and enhance the public space for residents and visitors. Landscaping options and costs are to be included (low maintenance options) for each sign removal and replacement. The new signs must incorporate the Jarvis Bay Village branding and use the recently approved new logo design for each sign.
