Collection, Transportation, Marketing and Processing of Municipal Solid Waste, Bulk Items, and Recyclable Materials Each Bid Must Be Accompanied by a Certified Check or Surety Company's Bid Bond on the Form Provided in the Bid Documents, Naming as Payee or Obligee, West Reading Borough, Berks County in the Amount of Ten Percent (10%) of the Total Bid Submitted. The Surety Company Must Be Acceptable to Said Borough. All Contracts Exceeding $10,000.00 Shall Be Performed in Compliance With Executive Order 11246, Entitled, ''equal Employment Opportunity,'' as Amended by Executive Order 11375 and as Supplemented in Department of Labor Regulations (41 Cfr Part 60). All Contractors Shall Comply With the "nondiscrimination/sexual Harassment Clause" as Required by Pennsylvania Executive Order 2016-05. Employees Shall Not Be Discriminated Against Because of Race, Color, Age, Religion, Sex, Gender, National Origin, or Any Other Characteristic Prohibited by Federal, State, or Local Law, Rule, or Regulation. All Written Questions Shall Be Forwarded to West Reading Borough via Email to Dmurray@westreadingborough.org. Responses to All Questions Received Will Be Forwarded to All Bidders Who Have Obtained a Specification and Bid Form Package. The West Reading Borough Council Reserves the Right to Accept or Reject Any and All Bids, and to Accept or Reject Any Part of a Bid That May Not Be in the Best Interest of the Public.
