Lead Service Line Replacements and Other Related Work The Borough Council reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to accept such bids as it may deem to be in the best interests of the Borough of Chatham and reserves the right to waive any informality in the bids received, and the right to consider the bids for sixty (60) days after their receipt. All bids must be accompanied by a non-collusion affidavit and guarantee pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:11-21, in the form of a bid bond, cashier's check or certified check in the amount often percent (10%) of the amount bid, not to exceed $20,000; a certificate from a surety company acceptable to the Borough pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:11-22; a statement of corporate ownership pursuant to N.J.S.A. 52:25-24.2; a listing of subcontractors pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:11-16; and an acknowledgment of the bidder's receipt of any notice of revisions or addenda to the advertisement or bid documents. Performance and payment bonds for the full amount of this project are required. The successful bidder is required to comply with all applicable statutory and regulatory requirements, which include, but are not limited to, the business registration requirements of N.J.S.A. 52:32-44; the public works contractor registration requirements of N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.48 et seq.; the anti-discrimination requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:2-1 et seq., N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq., P.L. 1975, c. 127, and N.J.A.C. 17:27; and the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, (42 U.S.C. 12101 et seq.)
