The purpose of this Request for Proposals (RFP) is to solicit proposals to establish a contract(s) with one or more qualified Offerors to furnish and provide annual laboratory equipment testing, certification, calibration, and maintenance services for various types of equipment. The services shall be provided on-site and some equipment may require off-site servicing. The work will take place at four (4) laboratory locations within the state for the Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, an agency of the Commonwealth of Virginia. Though the main purpose of this solicitation is to provide annual on-site testing, calibration and maintenance services, VDACS expects that offerors will have the ability to provide on-site and/or off-site repair services for the equipment awarded per lot. Initial Period of Contract: November 1, 2023 through October 31, 2024 (with four one-year optional renewals)
