1 . What is the height from finished floor to highest point in Hangar Answer: The height from floor to the interior hangar ceiling 28'01". 2. Is the hangar clear of obstacles or is Contractor to put into price, moving of objects to get lifts in to complete work Answer: The hangar is occupied with jets and drones. The government representatives (Rodney and Nick) will work with the tenants to move equipment around the work area and man-lift during this construction. 3. What size wire is currently feeding Lighting panel "LPA" Answer: The actual wire size from the main switchboard to panel LP is unknown. However, it is 225A panel so it should be 4#4/0 under 75C. 4. It states that the Safety and Health Officer may also serve as the Superintendent. It than states that the Quality Control can be a "Roving Project Manager" Does this mean that the SSHO and Superintendent are one hat and to be on- at ALL times and the QCM does NOT have to be on- at all times but as needed. This would mean the contractor is to put one hat into proposal Answer: The Part 2a required a full time Superintendent and a part time (roving) QC manager. So just a superintendent will not meet the requirements of Part 2a. The QC position (second Hat) will need to be proposed, but it will not need be a full time position. SOW PART 3 REV. C Summary of Work: The general intent of this project is to demolish the existing High Bay light fixtures and wiring and to replace them with new LED light fixtures, occupancy sensors, wiring and switches. The project will also include to remove lighting Panel, LPA and to replace a new lighting panel, LPA and associated lighting control system/panel. of Work: Detailed of work for the above summary of work is as follows: Workmanship and materials installed shall be in accordance with the NEC-2023, UFC 1-200-01 DoD BUILDING CODE (GENERAL BUILDING REQUIREMENTS), UFC 3-501 ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING, UFC 3-530-01 INTERIOR AND EXTERIOR LIGHTING SYSTEMS AND CONTROLS and UFC 3-520-01 INTERIOR ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. Where conflicts are found to exist the more stringent requirement shall be followed. GENERAL INSTALLATION REQUIREMENTS: A. DEMOLITION 1. Contractor shall field verify, identify and label all existing lighting circuits throughout the hangar prior to demolition to ensure power to fixtures and devices located outside of project area is not interrupted (if applicable, rewire as required to ensure they are all powered in good working condition. 2. The existing high bay lighting system is fed directly from designated lighting Panel, LPA located in electrical room. Disconnect and remove approximately 124 existing light fixtures and wiring from the hangar high bay areas. Existing conduits are to remain to reuse. The old fixtures will be removed from the base and recycled; the lamps will be disposed of properly. 3. Disconnect the feeder from lighting panel, LPA with care and remove 225A, 480/277V Panel, *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
