The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all offers, or to waive any informalities in the bidding. Contractor shall not pay less than the prevailing rates of wages as determined by the Illinois Department of Labor to all laborers, workers and mechanics performing work under this contract, and shall comply with the requirements of the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130/1-12). The project includes remodeling of two toilet rooms and a complete renovation of a classroom wing within the school. Alternative bids will also be received for the replacement of exterior windows and installation of acoustical panels within an existing gymnasium. Phase 3 work includes interior remodeling at the Cantrall Elementary School, located at #1 Braves Lane in Cantrall, IL.
