The City of Whitehorse (“City”) is inviting Bids from qualified vendors, referred to as “Bidder” with the experience to execute landscaping in and around the Whistle Bend pond (the “Work”), including the supply of materials, equipment, products, labour, and transportation as necessary to complete the project. This project is part of the Whistle Bend pond improvements initiative, whereby landscaping, introduction of specific vegetation and maintenance of the vegetation is required on the indicated site, as per applicable City of Whitehorse Servicing Standard Manual, which are available at below link: https://www.whitehorse.ca/business-in-whitehorse/zoning/engineering-standards/ In line with the project intent, Engineer’s design and City of Whitehorse Servicing Standard Manual, the Project will include, but not limited to: Securing the construction site and display required and appropriate safety signage Keeping public areas accessible to public and safe for use Removal of weed/ soil/ dirt/ algae/ gravel and the like where required to complete landscaping works Supply and planting of plants as specified in the tender documents Supply and installation of gravel as specified in the tender documents Securing all services running on surface or buried in the landscaping work’s area and restoring these services to initial working condition Securing all other surrounding property and restoring any damaged property to initial condition Cleaning and carting away excess material, debris and/ or waste from site Coordinate with any other trade/ contractor that the City may appoint on same site for other works Maintenance of the landscaping for amount of time specified in the contract.
