The project is expected to be awarded on February 2024.** Bayfield County Wisconsin is accepting proposals for modernization of the Bayfield County 1989 DOVER Elevator in the Bayfield County Courthouse, Washburn, Wisconsin. Proposals should include all costs, parts and materials, warranty and training for maintenance staff on operations and troubleshooting, including a not to exceed cost for building / electrical modifications required for the new units. The current unit travels between three floors, it is operational today, most components are original from 1989. The county recommends visiting the site. Various pictures are attached here. Please confirm with Craig if a virtual visit is planned. Modernization shall address the following, please detail what is proposed in each category. 1. New Controller: non-proprietary 2. New Power Unit: o Supply and replace current power unit. o Supply and replace piping fittings and wiring as needed. o Supply new hydraulic fluid. 3. New Fixtures, stainless steel fixtures: o Supply and replace all current fixtures to meet code. 4. New Door Equipment: o Supply and replace door operator. o Supply and install new door clutch and restrictor. o Supply and replace door rollers and pickup rollers as needed. o Supply and install new door protection system. 5. New Hoistway Equipment: o Supply and replace traveler cable and wiring. o Supply new pipe and wiring as needed. o Supply and install new cartop station per code. o Supply and install GFCIs on car top and bottom of the car. o Supply and install toe guard per code. o Supply and replace selector. 6. Misc and Other: o Supply new code and data plate per code. o Supply new alteration tag per code. o Bring elevator to current code compliance. o Removal and disposal of all old equipment removed. o Include State inspection and testing.
