Contract or Contract Documents: The writings and drawings embodying the legally binding obligations between TARTA and the Contractor for completion of the Work. Contract Period: The time during which the Contractor shall perform the Services or Work under the Contract. Contract Price: Amount payable to the Contractor under the terms and conditions of the Contract for the satisfactory performance of the Services or Work under the Contract. Contractor: The individual, association, partnership, firm, company, corporation, or a combination thereof, including joint ventures, contracting with TARTA for the performance of Services or Work under the Contract. Cost Analysis: The review, evaluation and verification of cost data and evaluating the specific elements of costs and profit. Cost analysis applies judgement utilizing criteria to project from the data to the estimated costs to form an opinion on the degree to which proposed costs represent what the Contract should cost, assuming reasonable economy and efficiency.
