Trail Brushing in Seward Alaska, see combined Synopsis Solicitation This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The combined synopsis/solicitation number is 1240BF23Q0076 and is issue as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) to establish a Firm Fixed Price service contract to provide Trail Brushing Services for Seward Ranger District, Alaska. The combined synopsis/solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2023-04, effective 2 June 2023. This procurement is a Total Small Business Set-Aside. In accordance with FAR Clause 52.219-6, Notice of Total Small Business Set-Aside (which applies to this combined synopsis/solicitation), offers are solicited only from small business concerns. Offers received from concerns that are not small business concerns shall be considered nonresponsive and will be rejected. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 115310, Support Activities for Forestry Size Standard: $8M. The NAICS Code was identified through a review of the U.S. Census Bureau's website where Support Activities for Forestry was listed as a corresponding index category. The small business size standard is $8 million. Description of Requirement: The Contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, management, tools, materials, equipment, facilities, transportation, and other items and nonpersonal services necessary to provide Trail Brushing Services. The contractor shall provide services in accordance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS), and all federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Place of Performance: The work shall be performed within close proximity to Cooper Landing and Hope AK, within the Chugach National Forest. Trailhead locations are as follows, The Upper Russian Lakes Trailhead can be accessed from mile 12 of Snug Harbor Road (which heads south from the town of Cooper Landing). The Crescent Creek Trailhead is three (3) miles down Quartz Creek Road via Mile 45 of the Sterling Highway. Gull Rock Trailhead is at mile 16 of the Hope Highway via Mile Post 56.3 of the Seward Highway.
