This work shall consist of the Contractor furnishing, operating, and maintaining one or more Portable Traffic Signal system(s), depending on the Contractors method of operation. Each Portable Traffic Signal system shall consist of up to four (4) separate units consisting of one (1) master unit and up to three (3) slave units capable of being easily towed separately or coupled together for towing to the jobsite by a single tow vehicle. This work shall also consist of setup, maintenance, repair, operating, and tearing down in accordance with these and the manufacture specifications, the plans, or as directed. The system shall meet the physical display and operational requirements of conventional traffic signals as specified in Part IV of the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) as adopted by the State, Institute of Transportation Engineers, and National Electrical Manufacturers Association.
