The purpose of this Invitation to Bid (ITB) is to establish a Contract to furnish all equipment and labor to perform Precommercial Thinning (PCT) services for the Oregon Department of Forestry (ODF) in the Tillamook District in Northwest Oregon. There are eleven (11) units containing 1,036 acres to be pre-commercially thinned. The successful low bidder will begin this contract on September 15, 2023, with all work to be completed by April 30, 2024. Contractor is responsible for all federal and state taxes applicable to compensation or payments paid to Contractor under this Contract, and unless required by prevailing federal law or regulations, Agency will not withhold from compensation or payments to Contractor any amount(s) to cover Contractor's federal or state tax obligations unless Contractor is subject to backup withholding.
