Carroll County Board of Education is seeking a qualified firm to provide and install a turnkey Motorola two-way radio system for radio coverage in and Carroll County GA that meets the Federal Communication Commission (FCC) requirements. The system shall include the MOTOTROBO Linked Capacity Plus system in order to provide reliable, efficient, radio and network functionality, and two way radio communications throughout the Carroll County Ga District that shall accommodate all communications for the Bus Transportation System. 1. Service Provider: Must be an authorized Motorola Distributor, licensed by Motorola to service and repair Motorola radio equipment, and be a Motorola Partner. 2. FCC Licensing: Upon award of contract, the awarding vendor must complete the Federal Communication Commission (FCC) application forms, submit form, pay all applicable fees, and obtain the renewed licensing that modifies the District's existing FCC licenses for all of the Carroll County School Systems that converts Carroll County BOE current analog FCC license to a digital license for all proposed equipment that will be purchased and installed. All administrative work, fees, and other must be provided in the Fee Proposal. 3. District Survey and Summary Report: Complete a County-wide survey of existing equipment, and locations to understand Carroll County BOE facilities, construction, and distances between sites to verify that the proposed two way radio system will meet Carroll County BOE needs. 4. Installation: Provide labor, equipment, and material needed to install, program, and test the new Two Way radio system to meet or exceed local, county, State and FCC codes. Assist the Carroll County BOE IT Department with ensuring the proposed MOTOTRBO Linked Capacity Plus system works to manufacturer's specifications and functionality. 5. Demolition: Once the new equipment has been installed and functioning, the old equipment will be removed and turned in to the Transportation Department. 6. Capital Asset: Provide Carroll County BOE with electronic Excel file of all proposed equipment with equipment name, model and serial number upon installation. Excel file must include the department name for which the equipment will be assigned. A copy of the Excel file must be provided to the Transportation Department and emailed to Carroll County BOE Coordinating Official, and Office of Purchasing for capital asset monitoring. 7. Training: Provide 1 hour training for transportation employees as well as 1 hour training for dispatchers. Provide support for one (1) week after deployment to answer questions concerning operation of radio system.
