Site work and paving for a road / highway in Tyringham, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
1.1 Furnish all equipment, labor and materials necessary to execute the project as described below under the direction of the Road Superintendent. 1.2 Mill the full width of Main Rd. 1or as directed by the Road Superintendent. Millings will be the property of the Town of Tyringham. Contractor shall provide adequate trucks to support continuous milling operations. Dump site will be at the Tyringham Transfer station, 27 Monterey Rd. 1.3 Apply tac coat at a rate of .07 gal. Per sq. yd. 1.4 Apply 2" Hot Mix Asphalt with 3/8" stone approximately 23' wide by 7850' long following the existing profile of the road. Contractor shall provide an adequate number of trucks to support continuous paving operations. 2023 Main Road Mill and Fill Paving of Main Road The Board of Selectmen are requesting sealed bids for the Mill and Fill of Main Road, approx. 7850 ft x 23 ft wide. The Lee/Tyringham Town line to just South of 75 Main Road.
