The Department of General Services (DGS), Real Estate Services Division (RESD), Project Management and Development Branch (PMDB), is requesting submittals from professional Civil Engineering firms for a retainer contract(s) that will be used on an as-needed basis for various projects to be described in future Task Orders to the original Agreement. Basic services to be provided shall include the following new / repair / modification / replacement type projects within Northern, Southern, and Coastal California. The selected firm(s) shall provide professional services on an as-needed basis and shall provide field investigations, designs (plans and specifications) and estimates pertaining, but not be limited to, site development, grading, utilities, roads, paving, landscaping, storm drain hydrology, sanitary sewer systems, water distribution systems, wells, minor structural designs, boundary and topographical surveying, utility location surveys, global positioning system surveys, etc. Related services may include but not be limited to providing hazardous material assessments, surveys, reports, abatement design plans / specifications, cost estimates and air monitoring associated with the above work. Consultants work may also require the participation of other engineering related disciplines such as architecture, mechanical, electrical, and structural. All work shall be performed under and approved by a design professional, or contractor, licensed in the State of California which meet the requirements of Government Code Section 4529.5 for management and supervision of work performed on State construction projects. The estimated retainer contract value is $5,000,000.00. The estimated duration of this contract will be five (5) years. Various projects will be assigned within the geographic regions shown in Attachment A California Regional Map of the Request for Qualifications Package (RFQ).
