The City of Kirkwood (hereafter noted as "the City") is requesting sealed qualifications for Koestering Park Paving Project. Qualified Firms (hereafter noted as "Firm") are invited to submit sealed qualifications to provide Koestering Park Paving Project for the City of Kirkwood in accordance with the specifications contained herein. The project does not include the interior power line access road beyond the interior parking area. It will consist of 2 inches milling of all asphalt surface in the project scope. Milled pavement will be primed with an emulsified asphalt tack coat prior to laying the new asphalt surface. Tack coat shall be incidental to the work for asphaltic concrete overlay. A 2" rolled overlay of all milled surfaces will then be applied mechanically using a hot asphalt paving machine. Mix design for MoDOT BP-1 shall be in accordance with Missouri Standard Specifications for Highway Construction. The surface of the layer shall be substantially free from waves or irregularities. Surface irregularities in the lift shall be addressed immediately and corrected in the final rolling process. Pavement will be milled, primed and then overlay of 2 inches of hot asphalt will be applied. Project will be referred to as Milling and Paving of Koestering Park Roadway, 1703 Marshall Road, 63122.
