Site work for an educational facility in Middletown, Connecticut. Completed plans call for site work for a educational facility.
As of May 20, 2024, this project has been awarded. Constructed is expected to begin in June once the school year in completed. Middletown High School Track & Field Replacement Middletown High School Track & Field Replacement 200 La Rosa Lane Middletown Work required pursuant to this contract includes furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals necessary to complete the construction. The Middletown Board of Education reserves the right to waive any defect in any bid and reserves the right to reject any or all bids or any part thereof. Bids, amendments to, or withdrawals of bids received after the time set for the receipt of bids will not be considered. All bids are subject to and must comply with the equal opportunity and nondiscriminatory provisions set forth in the Affirmative Action Plan of the Middletown Board of Education. All questions concerning this bid shall be submitted in writing via email to the Purchasing Agent, at puorroc@mpsct.org an the design consultant, at kfuselier@slrconsulting.com by Tuesday, September 26, 2023 by 12:00 pm to be considered. A bid bond for five percent (5%) of the base bid cost is required and must accompany each proposal. The successful bidder must file a one hundred percent (100%) Performance Bond, and a Certificate of Insurance with the Purchasing Agent within ten (10) days of notice of bid award.
