The project scope of work includes the removal and replacement of low-slope and steep slope roof systems and associated work at Sussex County Family Court. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid security equivalent to ten percent of the bid amount and all additive alternates. The successful bidder must post a performance bond and payment bond in a sum equal to 100 percent of the contract price upon execution of the contract. Minority Business Enterprises, Disadvantaged Business Enterprises, Women-Owned Business Enterprises and Veteran-Owned Business Enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids on this contract. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities therein. The Owner may extend the time and place for the opening of the bids from that described in the advertisement, with not less than two calendar days notice by certified delivery, facsimile machine or other electronic means to those bidders receiving plans. Removal of existing TPO roof system and installation of new TPO roof system at low slope roof areas. 2. Removal of existing synthetic shingle roof system and installation of new synthetic slate roof system at steep slope roof areas. 3. Removal of existing gutters and downspouts and installation of new gutters and downspouts. 4. Removal of existing siding and trim and installation of new siding and trim at dormers. 5. Installation of new roof hatch with guardrail system. 6. Associated demolition and construction.
