The RSR Wastewater Treatment Facility & Conveyance System (the Project) is a regional mechanical wastewater treatment facility and collection network to service communities in southeastern Manitoba with a current population of over 30,000 people and a capacity for growth to over 70,000 people. The Project will improve the environmental stewardship of the region, encourage economic growth and enable regional cooperation. When completed, the Project will support the outcome of increased capacity to treat and manage wastewater and stormwater. The work to be performed at the site of the new Facility adjacent to the existing Niverville Sewage Treatment Lagoons in the R.M. of Ritchot, Manitoba. The work consists of the construction and commissioning of the Facility including the supply of all labour, materials, equipment, services, and appurtenances necessary to complete the work as shown in the Contract Documents. Bid Bond written on Canadian Construction Documents Committee Form CCDC 220 or similar form acceptable to the RSRWC in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the Total Tender Amount and endorsed in the name of the RSRWC as obligee. will provide a Performance Bond in the amount of fifty percent (50%) of the Contract Price and a Labour and Material Payment Bond in the amount of fifty percent (50%) of the Contract Price.
