As of February 28,2024, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline or award has not yet been established. Sealed proposals will be received by the Town of Ellington, acting through its Finance Officer, to provide labor, services and material to install plantings along Maple Street and landscaping garden at Hall Memorial Library. This contract is subject to state contract compliance requirements, including nondiscrimination statutes and set-aside requirements. State law requires a minimum of twenty-five (25%) percent of the state-funded portion of the contract be set aside for award to subcontractors holding current certification as Small Business Enterprises (SBE) from the Connecticut Department of Administrative Services (DAS). A minimum of 6.25% of the state-funded portion must be set aside for subcontractors holding current DAS certification as Minority-, Women-, and/or Disabled-owned businesses (M/W/DisBE). The contractor must demonstrate good faith effort to meet the 25% set-aside goals. The Town of Ellington reserves the right to amend or terminate this Invitation to Bid, to reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities, omissions, excess verbiage or technical defects in the bidding and the Town need not necessarily award the contract to the lowest Bidder if, in the opinion of the Town, it would be in the best interest of the Town of Ellington to accept another bid. Note The Work will be completed no later than 210 days following the date on which the Work commenced.
