Provide funding for the upgrading of equipment and process control systems at the Wastewater Treatment Plant to improve the operational processes of the Wastewater Treatment Plant. The wastewater system serves approximately 64,000 customers in the City, Henrico, northern Chesterfield, and Goochland counties. This project also allows for the purchase of replacement vehicles and equipment used to provide services throughout the Department of Public Utilities' Wastewater Utility service territory. Project is included City of Richmond - Procurement Fiscal Year 2025-2029. As of February 13, 2025, project is ongoing. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly.
