**As of November 26 , 2023, No award for the project. Project will rebid but no definite date yet.** City of Elroy 2023 Housing Demolition Est. Completion Date: May 30, 2024 The work for which bids are asked includes the following: demolition of one (1) residential dwelling damaged by flooding. Work is funded by the Hazard Mitigation Grant Program through Wisconsin Emergency Management and FEMA. No proposal will be accepted unless accompanied by a certified check or bid bond equal to at least 5% of the amount bid, payable to the Owner as a guarantee that, if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the proper contract and bond within 15 days after the award of the contract. The certified check or bid bond will be returned to the bidder as soon as the contract is signed, and if after 15 days the bidder shall fail to do so, the certified check or bid bond shall be forfeited to the Owner as liquidated damages. No bid may be withdrawn within 45 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids. Questions received less than ten days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be 39 answered.
