**As of October 9, 2023 , this project has been cancelled due to no proposal received. Project will rebid but no definite date for the rebid.** The City of Sandusky desires to work with a contractor who would be available to complete the below work on the Washington Park Gazebo prior to the Thanksgiving Holiday weekend. The City of Sandusky reserves the right to reject any or all Proposals, to waive informalities, or to accept any Proposal which it deems most favorable to the City of Sandusky. All questions must be submitted in writing and may be emailed to: Megan Stookey, Project Manager mstookey@cityofsandusky.com. Any questions submitted and answers thereto, clarifications or Request for Proposals amendments shall be distributed to those parties that requested or have been sent an original RFP. Last day for questions shall be Friday, September 22nd, 2023, at 8:00 am. At a minimum, here is a listing of items that need addressed as part of the restoration project. replace and/or repair top and bottom; replace and/or repair damaged or missing spindles; replace post wraps and post caps with wood; replace all fascia; apply a fresh coat of stain to match the existing color.
