Reference Number 0000255945 Question Acceptance Deadline 2023/09/26 11:00:00 AM EDT Pricing Lump sum The Township of Rideau Lakes maintains approximately 460 centreline kilometres of rural roads that require a sand/salt mix for winter operations. Bids are hereby requested for the delivery of salt or treated salt delivered for the 2023- 2024 winter season with the option to extend the contract an additional three years. This agreement may not be assigned or subcontracted in whole or in part by the Contractor, without prior written consent of the Manager of Roads and Drainage. All work is subject to Council budget approval. The Township reserves the right to discontinue this RFP process and review at any time and not move forward with awarding a contract. The successful bidder will deliver to the following locations. 1410 County Road 8, Delta On KOE 1G0 9863 County Road 10, Westport On KOG 1X0 441 Hwy 15, Lombardy On KOG 1L0 85 Davis Lock Road, Elgin On KOG 1E0 The Township retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement. Maintain and keep in force during the term of the contract, General Liability Insurance protecting the contractor's liability, legal or assumed, under the contract for all claims arising from personal injury to members of the public, damage to property of public including loss of use of such property and the minimum insurance shall be $5,000,000.00. Maintain and keep in force during the term of the contract, automobile and non- owned automobile insurance on all vehicles used in connection with the work under this contract.
