Reference Number 0000262173 Question Acceptance Deadline 2024/01/25 11:00:00 AM EST Bid Intent Deadline 2024/01/26 11:00:00 AM EST Pricing Lump sum The Township of Rideau Lakes has one tight blading project in 2024. Bids are hereby requested for tight blading at the one (1) location. This agreement may not be assigned or subcontracted in whole or in part by the Supplier, without prior written consent of the Manager of Roads and Drainage. All supplies are subject to Council budget approval. The Township reserves the right to discontinue this RFP process and review at any time and not move forward with awarding a contract. Maintain and keep in force during the term of the contract, General Liability Insurance protecting the contractors liability, legal or assumed, under the contract for all claims arising from personal injury to members of the public, damage to property of public including loss of use of such property and the minimum insurance shall be $5,000,000.00. The contractor shall be responsible for all phases of the work including signing, traffic control and project management. All costs associated with traffic control shall be fully compensated under the items for all locations of work within this contract. It shall be the contractors responsibility under the items provided herein to complete the work except as specifically otherwise provided. The contractor shall be the Constructor under the provisions of the Occupational Health and Safety Act. Where no specific requirements for erosion and sedimentation control are defined in the contract, the contractor shall take all necessary precautions to ensure that no deleterious materials enter any ditch, stream, pond, lake or other water body as a result of the work on this contract.
