Reference Number 0000269955 Question Acceptance Deadline 2024/05/21 12:00:00 PM EDT The Municipality of North Grenville is seeking proposals from qualified consulting engineering firms to provide professional engineering services to conduct a detailed bridge assessment study in accordance with the Ontario Regulation 104/97 (472/10) and the Ontario Structure Inspection Manual (OSIM), as described in the scope of work. The urban serviced area (formerly the Town of Kemptville) currently serves a population of approximately 5,000 with a total North Grenville population of approximately 16,500. It is strategically located 30 minutes from downtown Ottawa, the Nation's Capital, along Highway 416, with easy access to Highways 417 and 401. The Municipality requests the following consulting services: o Inspection data (pictures, inspection sheets) Evaluation of the Condition State of each structure in accordance with the OSIM. Each component of the bridge shall be broken down, evaluated, and presented in the form of BCI (Bridge Condition Index). Grading each component of the bridge good, fair, and poor. Suspected Performance Deficiencies Recommendations regarding required repair or replacement Budgetary estimates for the repairs/rehabilitations Cost estimates for full structural replacement (existing and updated geometric standards) Recommended prioritization of bridge repairs Data collection and reporting to be compatible with Municipal DataWorks (MDW) and Municipal Infrastructure Data Standards (MIDS).
