The PROJECT CLASSIFICATION for this solicitation is: "B" ($100,000 - $500,000) MBE/VSBE Goal: 0%/0% The work shall be completed within 180 calendar days from the start date of the contract. If the work is not completed within the time period specified, the contractor will be liable for liquidated damages of $350 per calendar day as specified in the "General Conditions." The work consists of the removal of existing wooden single-pane windows with any necessary selective removal of sills, returns, finish wall veneer and for re-use. Removal of all anchorage frames or dips and subsequent patch, paint, and repair for preparation of window replacement procedures are to be included. Install replacement single hung aluminum (operable) windows as needed in the construction documents. Finalize work by completing all necessary finish wall substrate and veneer repair with finish paint coats. The base bid shall include without limitation, labor, materials, bailing, shoring, removal, overhead, profit, insurance (including builder's risk insurance, if applicable) etc. Builder's Risk Insurance is NOT required for this project.Prevailing wage rates apply to all contracts in the amount of $250,000 or more.
