Site work for a residential development in Atlin, British Columbia. Completed plans call for site work for a residential development.
This is the Phase 2 solicitation following an Invitation to Qualify. Only qualified suppliers have been invited to bid. Work to be performed under the Contract includes, but is not limited to, the following items, including all ancillary Work at Lots 1 & 2, Block 15, Atlin, BC. 1. Access to Lots 1 and 2 will be from Pearl Avenue and 2nd Street in Atlin, BC; 2. Soil classification based on in situ testing; ex situ testing may be required as directed by the Departmental Representative; 3. Treatment of Contaminated Water Onsite or Offsite at Contractor’s discretion in accordance with local bylaws (as applicable) and provincial requirements. Contractor responsible for discharge permits. 4. Excavation of Contaminated Soil at Lot 1 and Lot 2 from property line to property line, to a depth of 3 metres, with localized excavations to 4-7 metres below-ground-surface (bgs) 5. Transportation of Contaminated Soil to disposal facilities. Contractor takes ownership of all material leaving site. 6. Disposal of Contaminated Soil. All material identified as Contaminated on the Site must be disposed of at a licensed Disposal Facility, including material that has been treated. To assist with bonding and insurance requirements, this project is estimated to cost approximately between $500,001 to $1,000,000.
