Transportation Investment Corporation ("TI Corp"), on behalf of the Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure, is seeking one or more Contractor(s) to source, deliver and temporarily store preload materials at a Transition Site for a staged preload construction. The total quantity of preload material required is approximately 1,000,000m3, comprised either entirely of dredged river sand or, if the full quantity of dredged river sand is not available, of dredged river sand and alternate sand/gravel. The contractor(s) will be required to deliver the preload material by barge and store the material at a Transition Site located along the Fraser River, as close to North Delta, and North Surrey areas as possible. Under a separate contract, the material will be hauled by truck from the Transition Site(s) to the project site over the period of one year.
