Renovation of a residential development in Coquitlam, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.
The Project involves the renovation of three (3) cottages, built in the early part of early part of the last century - Cottages 103, 105 and 110. The cottages are located along Crabtree Lane. Renovations will be limited to the available project funding. Scope will be developed in consultation between the Construction Manager (CM) and Client (PHSA) or Client Representative with various options and opportunities presented by the CM to align and maximize utilization of the available funding in line with the PHSA's goals and objectives. The Cottages are leased from BC Housing (BCH), and as such, their approvals will be required on the final proposed scope. The project will involve three (3) phases, allowing for 1 week between phases to transfer clients to the newly renovated cottage. It is anticipated that due to the nature of the renovations building permits are not required. As such, no design consultants have been engaged for this project. The Proponent shall ensure they have capabilities to provide design recommendations with respect to material and fixture selections, and colour selections for the proposed renovations.
