Demolition of the existing Plateau-Mont-Royal service yard, decontamination of the land and construction of a new service yard in the quadrilateral formed by the streets of Mentana, Saint-Grégoire, avenue Christophe-Colomb and the Canadian Pacific railway tracks. The project implementation will allow to increase the efficiency of public works operations in the Plateau-Mont-Royal borough, upgrade buildings to ensure the health and safety of workers, optimize costs related to the borough's road activities by centralizing certain operations, eliminate truck traffic on Rue de Mentana and beautify the surroundings of the site. TIMELINE: The project implementation and design preparation are phased. First construction phase relating to decontamination, demolition, temporary development and railway retaining wall construction work has been tendered, awarded and is now followed in the report under CRM ID name Mentana / Saint-Grégoire Service Yard Project - Le Plateau-Mont-Royal. The main construction phase relating to the construction of the main building was awarded and is followed in the report under CRM ID name D/B - New St-Grégoire Service Yard - Plateau-Mont-Royal. Construction is underway. Subsequent phase phase tenders will be followed if/when they are issued in new separate reports. Coverage of this report has been discontinued.
