Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Pompton Lakes, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The work to be performed includes the furnishing of all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to complete the work as shown on the drawings and described in the specifications. The work to be performed under this contract includes roadway improvements along Lincoln Avenue from Riverdale Road to Lakeside Avenue generally consisting of approximately 1,530 linear feet of concrete vertical curb, 650 square yards of concrete sidewalk and curb ramps, 290 square yards of concrete driveway aprons, upgrading old drainage structures with compliant curb pieces and grates, approximately 21,800 square yards of milling, approximately 2,890 tons of hot mix asphalt surface course, and other miscellaneous work. Plans and Specifications have been filed in the office of the Clerk of the BOROUGH OF POMPTON LAKES and may be inspected by prospective bidders at the office of Greenman-Pedersen, Inc. (GPI), 301 Gibraltar Drive, Suite 2A, Morris Plains, New Jersey OR at the Borough of Pompton Lakes, 25 Lenox Avenue, Pompton Lakes, New Jersey, during regular business hours . Each bid must be made on the prescribed forms furnished with the Contract Drawings and Specifications, including Non-Collusion Affidavit, and must be accompanied by a Consent of Surety and a Certified Check, Cashiers Check or Bid Bond of not less than ten (10%) percent of the amount bid, and not to exceed $20,000.00. Bids may be submitted by mail, but will be considered only if received on or before such date and time. The Borough will not assume responsibility for bids forwarded through the mail if lost in transit at any time before bid opening. No bids will be received after the time set forth above. Bidders are advised that New Jersey Department of Transportation Local Aid funding will be utilized on this project. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of NJSA 10:5-31 et seq. and NJAC 17:27. All Bidders must submit to the Borough a Business Registration Certificate issued by the New Jersey Division of Revenue, PL 2004 c.57 (NJSA 52:32-44) and NJSA 40A:11-23.2, with their Bid. Bidders are notified that they must pay workmen the prevailing wage rate as determined by the New Jersey Department of Labor and Industry for the project, pursuant to the "New Jersey Prevailing Wage Act" - Chapter 150 of the Laws of 1963.
