Parking Lot Asphalt Removal and Resurfacing Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond, cash, or a certified check payable to the order of the Steger South Chicago Heights Public Library District certified by a responsible bank for an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid, as a guarantee that the bidder, if awarded the Contract, will furnish a satisfactory performance and payment bond, execute a contract for the full scope of work, and proceed with and complete the work within the agreed upon project schedule. The Board of Library Trustees reserves the right to reject any and all bids, and to waive any technicalities and irregularities in the bidding and to hold the bid proposals for a period of thirty (30) days from the date of opening set forth above. The Board of Library Trustees reserves the right to accept the bid that is, in its judgment, the best and most favorable to the interests of the Library and to the public.
