The project includes the Work to physically verify the materials of 98 water service lines located throughout the Village. The Contractor will perform potholing at two (2) locations per water service line and at a minimum distance of 18 inches from the curb stop. One pothole shall be excavated on each side of the curb stop to verify the pipe materials. A total of 196 excavations and associated material verifications will be completed. To the extent feasible, the potholes should be located within the green belt of each service line. Pavement removal and replacement should be minimized. A pre-bid conference will not be held. The Village of Edmore reserves the right to accept any Bid, reject any or all Bids, to waive informalities, and make the award in any manner deemed in the best interest of the Village. A Bid must be accompanied by Bid security made payable to Owner in an amount of 5% of Bidder s maximum Bid price
