Site work, remodeling and addition to a water / sewer project in Venice, Florida. Conceptual plans call for the addition of a water / sewer project; for the remodel of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
Due to its low elevation and proximity to the Intracoastal, the new Water Treatment Plant Justification: (WTP)was identified for relocation in the 2021 Resilience Plan. The new WTP would be safe and accessible in all foreseeable weather conditions, centrally located to City customers and existing infrastructure, and able to accommodate all compliance components, including potential concentrate discharge. The new WTP would also have a capacity equal or greater than the current 4.49 MGD capacity to allow for future build out and produce potable water more efficiently from the Citys existing and proposed groundwater wells. Fiscal year 2024-2028 *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change. The content management team will continue to pursue additional details as they become available.
