The City of Pell City is actively seeking from qualified bidders, hereinafter referred to as the Contractor, a bid for the construction of 210'x115'pickleball complex consisting of 9 courts. The successful bidder agrees to furnish all necessary labor, tools, equipment, and services required to perform and complete work in full accordance with the specifications, terms, and conditions contained in this Invitation to Bid. The initial term of this contract is estimated to begin on or about October 10, 2023, and completed by December 22, 2023 The City reserves the right to extend the contract; provided, however, that both parties agree to the extension, all terms, conditions, and specifications remain the same, and such extension is approved by the City of Pell City Any questions that bidders wish to have addressed and which might require an addendum must be submitted to the City of Pell City in writing at least five (5) days prior to bid due and open date Bids shall be accompanied by a Bid Security equal to 5% (five percent) of the bid price, but in no event more than $10,000. Bid Security shall be in the form of a bid bond or a cashier's check payable to the City of Pell City.
