Site work and paving for a civil project in Pell City, Alabama. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Construction of Morningside to Woodhill Road Waterline Improvements. The bid is comprised of the following principal items and approximate quantities: Installation of 7000' of 12" D.I. All Bidders must be responsible, meeting the criteria and requirements set forth in the specification documents. Prequalification of Bidders is not required. This project is considered a "Public Works" project and is governed by competitive bid laws as contained in Title 39 of the Alabama Code. Bidders, subcontractors, suppliers, and Bond Agents should be familiar with this code. Attention of bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under the contract, Section 3, Segregated Facility, Section 109 and E.O. 11246. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive technicalities. No Bidder may withdraw his bid within sixty days from the date set for receiving of the same. This project is governed by the applicable bid laws and practices of the State of Alabama.
